A representation of CV-59 USS Forrestal in late 1963, for the tests of landing a C-130 Hercules for the purpose of Carrier On-Board Delivery.
With how the C-130J module appears to be launching in the near vicinity, I've decided to throw together a representation of CV-59 during the Super COD Trials in preparation for however many people will attempt to recreate those landings. Additionally, some details have been reworked to more accurately show some details of the Forrestal in late 1963. Please do note that I don't have the ability to change geometry, so those island lights will always be misaligned with the new set of numbers.
Note: This livery can be installed without needing to overwrite the existing deck textures of the Forrestal. Extract the contents to either DCSWorld/CoreMods/aircraft/F14/Liveries(should have a folder named "Forrestal" under "F-14A-135-GR" and "f-14b" folders) or extract to Saved Games/DCS(or "dcs.openbeta")/Liveries for an option to change the Forrestal carrier's skin.
Massive thanks toward Joshua Pemberton for allowing me to make use of his redone Forrestal Deck with more visible stripes, as the default game's deck stripes were very worn down(though accurate for the timeframe represented).
