SITUATION
Ar-Rashid is contested, with insurgents entrenched in the city center.
The convoy must cross the city via Shari‘ al-Wasat, the main avenue, but it is heavily threatened by ambushes.
Intelligence marks two high-risk ambush zones: mid-avenue residential blocks and the market district.
MISSION
Escort and protect the convoy through Shari‘ al-Wasat from the Southern entry point to the northern rally point. Neutralize insurgent threats. Minimize civilian casualties and infrastructure damage.
