The next morning, Blaze, Chopper, and Grimm lead the search-and-rescue mission for Nagase. They locate her distress beacon just before the Yuktobanian search parties find her, and escort an H-9 helicopter to her position while defending it from air and ground attack.

During the Yom Kippur War, the Israeli Air Force used 88 Walleyes with 84 (96%) direct hits destroying 70 tanks/armored vehicles (several bombs claimed multiple vehicles) and 18 bridges.

On 17 October 1973 Israel sent an F-4E squadron north to the port of Latakia to bomb three bridges used to transport Soviet military goods to the Golan Heights. You can fly the STRIKE mission against the bridges, the SEAD attack on the AAA guarding the bridges or the CAP force protecting the attacking squadron. Comments welcome.

Another mission of me trying to tribute my favourite game of all times: Ace Combat 5.

The Wardog Squadron assists Sea Goblin in the extraction of Osean prisoners from the Yuktobanian POW camp in Glubina. After securing air superiority over the area, Wardog destroys the ground-based defenses firing at the Sea Goblin helicopter. Nagase, believing that Captain Bartlett may be among the inmates and distraught by feelings of guilt over him saving her earlier, is shot down when the operation is almost complete. She bails out, but the gunship sent immediately after her crashes because of the snow storm and she has to wait until the next morning for pickup.

This year, 2024, marks the final year of the F16 Fighting Falcon ( Viper ) in service within the Royal Netherlands Air Force.

A special design on the J-197 for 312 "Bonzo" Squadron, the final users of the F16 within the RNLAF was created by Aviation Artist, Peter van Stigt.

I did my best to transfer the design from the F16A Mlu with a lot of editing onto the DCS F16C model.
Updates with adjusments / improvements will follow.
