I always thought the NVG implementation, with regard to the instruments being blurred (as they are too close to be in focus with the goggles) was realistic but maybe too much. IRL you can look under and around your NVG to look at your instruments in cockpit.
We don't have that and while reducing their size works (see Tacca's mod but also lefuneste01's implementation of 3dMigoto), it is far from ideal, especially in VR.
