This skin represents the Messerschmitt Bf 109 flown by Leutnant Viktor Bauer of 9./JG 3 “Udet” during 1943 on the Eastern Front. Bauer was one of the Luftwaffe’s notable Experten, credited with over 100 aerial victories before being severely wounded in 1943. His aircraft bore the distinctive unit markings of Jagdgeschwader 3, with personalized details authentic to the period.

An adaptation of the Gull Grey/Insignia White hi-vis of the RAN  805 & 724 Sqns, & the US Navy of the 1970s. The hawk's head is from the Brazilian Navy's AF-1 here: https://www.defesaaereanaval.com.br/aviacao/plastimodelismo-af-1-com-pintura-comemorativa-dos-15-anos .

Fictional & blatantly transposing the markings of one aircraft onto another for no reason other than I thought it looks cool.
