Allied bombers are approaching fast from the north. Take off immediately and meet them head on. Take them out before they can bomb our airfield!

Little semi-historical fun mission to showcase the new lighting at night, the new search lights and Anton intercepting bombers with rockets.

My humble attempt based on six famous vehicles from my childhood.

Fw190-A8 English Cockpit & semi-clean canopy glass

The helicopters used for Blue Thunder were French built Aérospatiale SA341G Gazelles. The two helicopters were purchased fr om Aérospatiale by Columbia Pictures for $190,000 each and flown to Cinema Air in Carlsbad, California wh ere they were heavily modified for the film with bolt-on cosmetics and an Apache-style front end.  Since the DCS SA342 doesn't have the same cosmetic enhancements, some liberties were taken with the markings.

This is a fictional skin pack of SA342L/M/Mistral Gazelles with OH-17A Blue Thunder markings.  We may not have Los Angeles to fly in, but Las Vegas should be a sufficient urban environment.  Note: this skin pack is distributed as an EXE installer.

- December 23, 1972, you are the pilot of the Huey helicopter who is going to look for the last survivors of the crash (Plane : Fuerza Aérea Uruguaya flight 571)  with the help of the first two survivors who went down to get help.

Deux pilotes de chasse en patrouille, les capitaines Marchelli et Valois, sont immédiatement lancés à la poursuite du Mirage 2000.

Mission solo ou multijoueur reprenant l'intro du film Les Chevaliers du Ciel, avec des extraits radio tiré du film, réplique exacte en terme d'armement de lieux et des avions de chasse
