63-7583 "Never Trust A Smiling Cat" as it would of appeared in the early 80's while serving with Michigan Air National Guard's 171st Fighter Interceptor Squadron located at Selfridge Air Force Base. (Now Selfridge Air National Guard Base). In reality, the 171st flew F-4Cs, represented by the F-4E we have in DCS.

Convoy escort - randomly spawned events for replayability A resupply convoy is leaving FOB Thunder for FOB Clark at 0530, ETA: 0650; you are to provide escort. The planned route is marked on your map by waypoints. The 86km journey is known to be dangerous, previous convoys have been recently targeted by insurgents.
This mission randomly spawns pre-planned "events" each time you launch it meaning you are very unlikely to fly twice the same mission. “Events” can be baddies roaming around, preparing ambushes, planting IEDs etc.

Adopted to Afghanistan map with premission by Ogma (author of the original mission on Syria map).
