Mizedit, which was originally developped by Berkoutskaia, is targeting at mission file localization and post modification.
This tool allows you to add/delete locales to existing missions, and subsequently edit/translate mission title, description, red/blue briefings,
radio messages, trigger messages, as well as pictures/audios. Besides, you can (batch) export/import text that allows you
to have a better localization management.

Mizedit 0.36 and previous versions only support mission files for DCS 1.2.x or older versions.
After contacting Berkoutskaia and getting the source code from him,
I started to improve the capability to fit DCS 1.5+ versions and also expand tool functionalities.

In future, I will keep maintaining and improving this tool, and adding more features.

Recently, I wrote an app to extract all key text (tooltip, input, options, quickstart miz name, module introduction, weapons in coremods etc), and generate the po file for localizations.

NOTE: to make desired text able to be localized, all the key text (tooltip, input name, category, options, quickstart miz name, weapon names, introduction) must be bracketed by _()

Now, program is upgraded to GUI version!!!

1. To translate, you need poedit to open po file
2. after translation, compile to po to mo file, and move it to 'XXX/l10n/LC/LC_MESSAGES/' and rename it 'messages.mo'. Replace /LC/ by any locale (en, ru, de, fr, es, cn, it, cs), e.g. xxx/l10n/ru/LC_MESSAGES/
3. guarantee that the locale in Config/lang.cfg is same as LC of the path.

When use existing edm model for mod test, we don't know the arg for each animated object.
Although clickabledata.lua can give the connector name and its arg, for many devices/gauges, the arg is not reachable via clickabledata.lua

Here I wrote a small app to solve this issue, and share it with the community.

Note, this can be used for guys who want to figure out the arg used by either external and cockpit models

ALSO Visual C++ 2013 Redistributable X86 is REQUIRED!

To create skins or re-texture cockpit, many players may suffer from not knowing the texture material names defined in EDM files.
Even they can find and modify desired dds files, they may not know how to ask DCS to load them,
since the description.lua file with completed entries are not available for them

To install this mod, after unzip it, put the Kneeboard folder to Saved Games/DCS/.

In this mod, you can view certain pages once in corresponding cockpit (e.g. F-86/Fw-190/P-51 radio channels, startup procedures and etc., you can modify them later).

It also has global pages (All NDB stations' locations and freq, all airport info, TACAN info, VOR info) available for all ACs.

Note, in this mod, subfolder for UH-1H is empty, since I do not own it, so you can create your own pages specific for UH-1H. For FC3 ACs, you can create the subfolders according to my thread: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=129400.

DCS input files for F-15C, Su-27, Su-25A/T, Ka-50, Mi-8, MiG-21Bis, F-86, MiG-15Bis, C-101EB, and Hawk
Each AC has its only profile, directly mapped in DCSW
Need CH control manager installed
Also TIR5 profiles and snap view

I also added a CH Product Chart file which is an editable pdf, such that you can optimize/organize the mapping of each button in pdf before editing it in Game
