Chase of the V-1 rocket

In this mission you have to chase some V-1 and hit them before they smash into London. Historically allied pilots had two ways to down those rockets: shooting from far distance to avoid the blast of the 850kg warhead, or flying beside and hit the wingtip to mess up the rocket's attitude.

You can fly this mission with SpitfireMkIX or P51D or Mosquito.

(As kindly requested by few Users, this is the mission originally made for the Fw190-A8, converted for the Bf109K4)

One of the airborne radar used by Luftwaffe's night fighters was the Fug 217 Neptun. In the version J2 it equipped also few Antons employed in the "Nachtjagd".
In this mission I tried to reproduce the kind of operations as narrated on books like W.Johnen - "Duel under the stars" and P.Spoden "Enemy in the dark". It's a mission where patience and precision instrument flying are required....

Il 2 Aprile 1945 nei cieli sopra il Lago di Garda si svolse l'ultima grossa battaglia aerea combattuta dall'ANR (Aeronautica Nazionale Repubblicana) contro le forze aeree alleate. Il 2° Gruppo Caccia "Gigi Tre Osei" armato di Bf109 G-10 e K-4, venne mandato ad intercettare una formazione di 52 B-25 provenienti da sud e diretti verso la valle dell'Adige. (secondo un'altra fonte erano anche B-26, comunque qui sostituiti dagli A-20G)
In questa missione ho riprodotto il numero esatto degli aerei coinvolti con i nomi dei piloti Italiani più alcuni USAAF.

Each campaign is made of 3 similar missions made for a fictionary USN embarked P51, RAAF Spitfire and IJN Bf109 (in the fictionary role of the Ki-61 "Tony").
Many mods have been used, please follow readme.txt instructions.

The GCA (Ground Controlled Approach), or more specifically PAR (Precision Approach Radar), until recently was the main precision approach procedure used by military; in some cases used by civilian flights as well. It consists of a radar controller that gives you continuosly azimuth and vertical path deviations indications toward the runway. It's considered almost reliable as an ILS of Cat.1, which means it's capable of drive you to the Runway with visibility down to ~600 mt and vertical visibility of 2~300 feet.

This campaign is based on the history of the Jagdgeschwader 5 "Eismeer" (Arctic Sea), as narrated by German ace Walter Schuck in his book "Luftwaffe Eagle".
The unit operated for most of the WWII above the Arctic Circle facing the Red Army from East and the RAF bombers from West.
The 13 missions reflect actual operations described in the book, 2 are made only to test your flying skill.
The campaign was originally designed for the Bf109K-4 (https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3314088/); this is the conversion for the Fw190A-8 module.
