You need to escort a convoy, callsign Ranger 2-4, from FOB Paris, to our evacuation point on the coast, FARP London. The convoy will depart on your signal and we expect the transit time to be 90 mins. There is a variable enemy presence in the area, so we need to be alert to any possible threats.
Threats include Insurgent vehicles and ambushes, investigating and neutralising potential IEDs, and suppressing any other enemy activity encountered. These are carefully randomised and balanced so that every playthrough is different and challenging.
This mission is designed for two players flying as a “pink team”, with one player in a scout helicopter (White) and the other in a gunship (Red).
The Scout will need to fly such that their observer can closely check out potential threats, hovering or carrying out low passes as needed.
The mission is written for SA-342 Gazelle as Scout, Mi-24P Hind as Gunship and requires the Syria map. The mission can be modified to utilise other helicopters.
