Since the IADS roll-back from the previous 3 nights the young conflict has been relatively calm with diplomats having conversations on open and behind-the-scenes channels. Most of the USAF presence at Larnaca has since moved to Incirlik, to include half the F-22's, since the infrastructure is already there. A single squadron of F-16's make up the USAF presence on Cyprus and has been on 10-minute alert in case of a Syrian aircraft coming west over the Med.

You and your flight will be on Ground Alert for any Syrian incursion from the East. You have 2 other flights of F-16's on alert as well. A 24-7 AWACs is up for Tact C2 support and an occasional RC-135V/W flies to monitor Syrian SIGINT.

7 days ago China conducted a massive cruise missile strike on Guam. It was a near knock out blow with 12 KC-135, 5 B-52, all 4 of the P-8's, and 10 F-16's destroyed along with major damage to the parallel runways. The runways are almost ready but the engineers say it will be 30 more hours. in the meantime sorties will be launched via the parallel taxiways, which were spared from the attack. Your crew was able to land your MC-130 3 days ago and have been waiting for further tasking

Chinese and American relations have reached a new low. Months after the Russians backed down from aggression with Ukraine, The US has re focus on addressing the increasing aggressive Chinese. US Navy has increased Freedom of Navigation (FONOPS) around the South China Sea (SCS) but more importantly the US has taken the unpresented diplomatic step with Taiwan by having the Secretary of Defense (SECDEF) have one-on-one conversations with his counterpart in Taipei. The Syrian Regime Forces have been decimated after endless precision airstrikes hammered their IADS and Air Forces. There are still a number of unlocated Tactical SAMs throughout the AOR and the Syrian Air Force can still launch a few Fighters (all of the Syrian MiG-29s have been destroyed). The vast WMD program that started this conflict has been nearly destroyed but one last major Chemical weapons Facility still exists. The complex is located to the Northwest of Palmyra Airbase.
This mission will be a complex one that will have multiple assets paving the way for a AFSOC MC-130H conducting a low level ingress and airdrop of SOF troops (VOODOO) that will infiltrate and secure the last Chemical weapons' the Syrians possess. They will then be extracted from the area by Chinooks (escorted by Apaches) from FOB - Dublin in the Southwest of Syria.

*This is the 3rd mission I'm made but 1st to publish*

After the massive IADS takedown from the previous night we are now focusing on destroying Syria's capabilities to produce Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMDs). A Chemical weapons factory has been identified and the CFACC wants it eliminated.

The remaining Syrian IADS have been quiet as a means to survive future SEAD attacks.

No Syrian Fighters have been seen within the past 48hrs and no signs from overhead have shown the Syrian Air Force fueling or loading their fighter jets.
