This package contains a CombatFlite file and simple PNG map giving references for some key landmarks around Northern Israel and its borders with Syria and Lebanon. It is my hope that those details would assist in creating some realistic and interesting scenarios in that area of the Syria theatre.

Israel/Lebanon and the Golan Heights - High resolution maps

This archive includes high resolution PNG maps created from stitching screenshots of the DCS F10 map (a LOT of them...)
Unlike Google-Earth/Combatflite maps, the DCS map isn't 1:1 true-to-life and the differences - however small - may prove critical when planning missions involving ground units/objectives, close-air-support coordination and alike (Location and layout of roads, villages, forests etc)
The maps are of a resolution of 335 pixel/Nautical-mile and can be cropped as needed to create specific maps for coordination of air-ground operations.

It is my hope that those maps be of use by mission creators, planners as well as for JTAC/FAC(A) roles for creating immersive scenarios.

Hi,
For pilots who are into air-to-ground missions, I've created the following kneeboard cards.
I've focused on types of units that are most common on our 132nd Virtual Wing's trainings and combat missions.
I specifically avoided SAMs/AAAs etc as those air-threats are already addressed by other content makers (Well, I ran across a few while googling )
The intent here is to assist in ID'ing what the pilot is seeing so as to be able to tell a friend fr om a foe, and to have a clear idea about the type of ground force he (or the JTAC he's supporting) is up against.
I hope it would be of assistance.

Update Jan 8th 2021 : Added 3 cards covering air-defense vehicles: Shilka, SA-8, SA-15, SA-19, SA-9 and SA-13

The tactical map is aimed at making communication between different forces easier and faster.
The map is built over hi-res frames from the regular F10 map. It covers an area of roughly 25 by 25 miles and includes additional markings of prominent ground features which are easy to locate both on the map and visually during a mission (roads, bridges and towns).

Operation "Safe-North-A" v1.7

Georgian army is executing a major ground offensive to neutralize Abkhazian forces near the border and secure tactically valuable areas.
This operation requires intensive and closely coordinated air support (A-10C's, SU-25T's, Gazelles and KA-50's) to suppress Abkhazian ground opposition and allow our ground force achieving its goals without losing too much of its strength.

This mission can be used for coop (blue coalition) effort or - if enough users are participating - as a TvT : there are slots for Red tactical commanders and a pair Ka-50's.
If the mission slots are fully manned, both sides will also have air-to-air missions (F-15C's, M-2000's against Su-27's)

For improving the battle experience, use the additional OPERATION SAFE-NORTH TACTICAL MAP - a high resolution map containing tactical markings that allows for better coordination between the various forces.
* The map will be uploaded separately along with a description file due to its file size.
