As the USN's premiere F-14 test crew, you will be test-firing six of the new AIM-54C Phoenix long range missiles against six USAF QF-4 drones out on the NTTR.

A similar test with the AIM-54A previously scored 4 out 6 targets. Can you and the AIM-54C do better?

Beware: this time the drones have a sting in their tail. Do not let the USAF score against the Navy!

This is the 11th mission leading up to the planned invasion, beginning with missions that started with"The Prelude". Feeling very confident now and ready to give the full scale invasion order, the President gathered the Joint Chiefs together to announce his decision. When asked their input he got a resounding "NO". All were in agreement that more was to be done, especially against the new ultra sophisticated installed radar on Absard mountain that covers a much wider defensive airspace . "Make it happen" was all he commanded.
Conduct airstrikes and air patrols on coastal IRAN inland to facilities protected by ground to air radar, including the major Iranian installation on Absard mountain referred to by NATO forces as "SAM Mountain". Target tasks to be implemented on moving and stationary targets.

An F-117a Nighthawk has made an emergency landing in hostile territory.
A Search and Rescue team is enroute via helo to extract the pilot.
You will provide top cover.
Your primary mission is to support the SAR team in the recovery of the downed airman, and ensure the safe return of all involved.
Your secondary mission is to destroy the F-117 to deny stealth technology falling into the wrong hands.

A simple mission to practice some of the basic mission set of the naval aviator, including carrier operations, AAR, and employment of air-to-air and air-to ground weapons.

LANTIRN mod recommended, but not essential.

V1.2 Update 09/06/2020
- Changed F-117 faction so that player does not get "fratricide" penalty on destroying the F-117 in DCS World 2.5.6.
- Added Operation Salvage - SC version.

The UAE and Oman have asked the United Nations for assistance in controlling Iranian aggression in the area. The USS John C. Stennis carrier group has been deployed to the region and are tasked with sea and air patrols.
