This is the third mission of my upcoming campaign, and I appreciate any comments re: bugs/issues. It is advised that you play the first two missions before this to understand the campaign's structure.

In the last 48 hours Tehran has been responding to an Israeli aerial bombardment. With few military or diplomatic options to resist Israeli aggression, Iran is desperate to coerce the international community to respond to its plight. To do this, it intends on raising oil prices.

In the last mission, you rescued the crew of the Blue Orion oil tanker and the US Navy bombarded Iranian Naval positions, all but destroying its ability to intercept ships in the Strait. More desperate than ever, Iran has resorted to missile attacks against commercial interests in the UAE and Taskforce Sentinel assets at US bases nearby. You will join a flight of F-16s or F-18s to destroy two prominent missile sites deep in Iran. You will face a decision midway through the mission that dictates the storyline.

In the last 48 hours Tehran has been responding to an Israeli aerial bombardment. With little help coming from Russia, and with few military or diplomatic options to resist Israeli aggression, Iran is desperate to coerce the international community to respond to its plight. To do this, it intends on raising oil prices by attacking oil interests in the Strait of Hormuz.

In the last mission, you failed to rescue The Blue Orion, an Italian-flagged oil tanker. Now seized by the Iranian Navy and anchored near the port of Bandar Abbas, you will escort a US Special Forces flight as they recapture the tanker, and rescue the crew from the Iranian shoreline. US Tomahawk Missiles will bombard enemy air defences ahead of you while you stay low level to avoid radar detection.

In the last 48 hours Tehran has been responding to an Israeli aerial bombardment. With little help coming from Russia, and with few military or diplomatic options to resist Israeli aggression, Iran is desperate to coerce the international community to respond to its plight. To do this, it intends on raising oil prices by attacking oil interests in the Strait of Hormuz thereby forcing the international community to broker a peace deal on their behalf to stabilize oil prices.

As part of a multinational taskforce known as "Sentinel" you've been enjoying your USN deployment to the UAE, flying daily sorties in the sun and playing volleyball on the beaches in the evenings. All of a sudden, however, you and your hodge-podge taskforce - little more than a dozen combat crews between the US Navy and Air Force, RAF, UAE, and Kuwait - find yourself on the frontline of an international crisis.

I would appreciate if you play these missions in order and report any bugs ready for the final comapign.

This is an immersive, single or co-op mission in the Strait of Hormuz, flying an F-18 or F-16, and a preview of my upcoming campaign - A Standoff in the Strait of Hormuz. In an attempt to raise oil prices to force the west to broker peace between Israel and Iran, Iran has been attacking oil interests in the Strait. You are part of a multinational taskforce to protect the Strait and have been asked to aid a tanker in the process of being seized. You'll perform a show of force, which will fail, culminating in eventual hostilities and Iranian interceptors being launched against you. You'll face in-the-moment decisions that will dictate if the mission ends peacefully, or if it ignites a regional conflict, and is the first mission of my upcoming campaign. This mission has several radio cues, A2G objectives, and A2A objectives.

Following Israel's successful assassination of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah on 27 September 2024, and Iran's retaliatory missile strike against Israel on 1 October, tensions in the Middle East have never been higher. The region is in chaos, with civilians fleeing Beruit by any means possible, causing local air traffic to be unusually congested.

Iranian Admirals are pragmatic, and understand they are outmatched. As such, they have instructed daily intercept training sorties. You are on one such sortie when your ground-based Early Warning Station becomes victim of a sophisticated cyber attack, a likely precursor to an Israeli attack. Resorting to World-War-2-era lines of communication, you will defend Iran against an Israeli strike package, ensuring you do not endanger an already congested civilian airspace. You will prioritise threats, identify foes, and attempt to force Israeli jets to RTB or jettison their A2G weapons. Flaming Cliffs: F5 and Mig-29. Full fidelity: F4 and F5.
