Mission can be run as single player or multiplayer. F-16 or F/A-18 for SEAD. F/A-18 for Anti-ship.

SEAD flight will destroy the 2 Sa-2, 1 SA-6 and 1 Hawk Site Tracking Radars

Sub Strike Flight will target each Kilo class and one LaCombatte in the harbor.

JF-17 Thunder: Operation Desert Thunder tells the story of Kuban Security as they undertake the mission to defend the Republic of Hormuz against the dual threats of a local insurgency and the Free State of Bastak. This is the stand-alone sequel to Operation Black Bear.

* Fly the JF-17 Thunder over the Persian Gulf as part of the PMC Kuban Security and their deployment to boost the air force of the Russian Federation ally of Hormuz.

* Perform ten missions such as combat air patrol, close air support, low level attack and deployment of precision munitions against a large variety of targets.

* Aid your allies against both a local insurgency and the unknown agenda of the western-alligned state of Bastak and their F-16C Vipers!

* Fly together with a friend in the additional Co-Op Campaign!

I want to share a Set of 19 Static Templates that I edited to provide scenery objects and air defense for each of Iran's Airbases on the Persian Gulf Map. These Templates make use of three User Mods, that must be installed prior to actually using the Templates on the Mission Editor. They are:

1) VPC Airfield Equipment Mod, by @voc, originally available here:

However, download instead an updated version of this Mod from this link:

Hello and Welcome to the Persian Gulf Variable mission.

This is an all-in-one style Air-Ground, Air-Air attack mission for the Persian Gulf map, and supports every flyable platform in DCS. There are over 50 different missions that can be played inside this one mission. In order to activate a mission, you MUST select it through the F10 radio menu option. Once completed with a mission, you will have the option of selecting a new mission. If you selected a mission that you no longer wish to complete, or have selected a mission in error, you can use the "Auto-complete" radio option to delete the units and go back to the main menu. ** NOTE - if you select the "auto-complete" option, you can no longer attack that missions units in the future. **
