The enemy has started targeting our ships with great effect, and we think it's their upgraded SCUD ballistic missiles. We managed to identify the location of the top secret factory that builds these upgrades, your mission is to carry out a deep strike into enemy territory performing the tasks that an F-16C would do, from a runway than an F-16 wouldn't be able to use.
You're flying a 90s F-14B Tomcat equipped with:
2x Aim-9M Sidewinder
2x Aim-54C Phoenix
2x GBU-24 PavewayIII
1x TALD Decoy
1x Lantirn targetting pod
This mission tests most of the skills available for the Tomcat:
You will have to attach to the catapult (1) and takeoff from a carrier (2).
Fly towards the target point using the navigation computer (3), look out for and engage enemy aircrafts (4), suppress the enemy HAWK SAM battery using the TALD decoy (5), assess the situation on the ground and ask Jester (6) to use the Lantirn Pod [LOOK FOR ARMOR] when in range to target the 4 ballistic missile launchers.
Deploy the laser guided bomb and guide it on the target without being shot down by the SAMs, the manpads or the guns (7). if you're being targeted by the AAA you're doing something seriously wrong.
Then, return to the carrier and land (8)
without running out of fuel (9)
