Some US Navy GUPPY and Fleet Snorkel submarines wore a grey paint scheme on their upper hull, deck, and superstructure. Included here are liveries for five such submarines: USS Requin (Fleet Snorkel), USS Pomodon (GUPPY I/II), USS Remora (GUPPY II/III), USS Sea Fox (GUPPY IIA) and USS Volador (GUPPY II/III).
These liveries were made relatively quickly and as such the paint lines are not completely symmetrical on either side of the subs. The Santa Fe is not a completely accurate model for these submarines, since USS Requin was a Fleet Snorkel boat with the pointy bow and Remora, and Volador had increased length after their GUPPY III upgrades. However all of these submarines did at some point have the Electric Boat sail, a feature shared with USS Catfish (ARA Santa Fe).
