Defend airbase against incoming attack by ground and air
In this mission I'm operation out of Menagh Military Air Base in northern Syria, a few miles south of the Turkish border.
This facility was previously under siege by Syria's opposition forces until it fell to rebels and Islamists and was later taken by the Syrian Armed Forces in February 2016.
In this fictional reenactment, the air base has come under artillery fire from the Turkish Armed Foreces, who claim the base is being used to attack its territory.
When in reality the base has come under attack by Turkish backed rebels trying to destabilize the area.
The base is now under heavy artillery shelling and reports of Turkish incursion into our territory.
We are no longer dealing with small scale insurgents but a major military power, right next door to us
Take out the artillery and neutralize any Turkish threats who crossed the border into our country.
