Thrustmaster HOTAS Warthog Profile v8.1 for F/A-18C Hornet

This profile is meant to be functional.
- The original throttle Slew Control (T1) is finicky so its axes were unmapped and its button was selected as Modifier. (Remap if you have the improved version or the thumbstick slew mod by Delta Sim.)
- The TMS hat switch on the stick (7,8,9,10) was used as TDC as it gives better cursor control than T1.
- TDC Depress is on the NWS button (S3) which will facilitate A/G RDR EXP work where TDC Depress has to be held.
- TDC + Modifier gives quick access to useful ATTK RDR buttons (Right MDI only), namely RWS/TWS, SET/AUTO/MAN, RSET, Scan Azimuth.
- In the MS Word diagram, commands in RED are defaults while commands in BLUE are with Modifier.
- If you do not have pedals, you can replace the throttle POV2 L/R + Modifier with Rudder L/R.
Latest Update:
1. Added at throttle unit: NVG toggle and gain (5,4,6 + Modifier), Visor toggle (3 + Modifier), Seat up/down (32/31 + Modifier).
2. Some new diagram text info (eg, TDC cursor bumping and offset reticle).
To install:
1. Unzip downloaded file
2. Go to game Options/Controls/F/A-18C Sim
3. In column "Joystick - HOTAS Warthog", use its drop down menu to select "Load profile" and browse to unzipped folder to select Joystick diff.lua file
4. In column "Throttle - HOTAS Warthog", use its drop down menu to select "Load profile" and browse to unzipped folder to select Throttle diff.lua file
5. At bottom "Modifiers" tab, add throttle Slew Control (middle finger T1 button = JOY_BTN1) as Modifier
6. Any mapping changes made are auto saved in C:\Users\User\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Config\Input\FA-18C_Hornet but can also be saved separately using drop down menus described above with "Save profile as" to any folder and filename of your choice
PS: Test all axes and mappings as per diagram and remove any unwanted leftover stock bindings that may interfere.
