A large Alpha Strike at dawn on an enemy airfield.
Last night we hit the airfield at Gelendzhik at last light. We successfully took the runway out of action to keep enemy fighters on the ground.
This morning you will lead an alpha strike package to destroy the airfield installations and hopefully any aircraft that remain on the ground.
The alpha strike will consist of two flak suppression elements and a strike element. The first flak suppression element will attack supress suspected AAA locations with White Phosphorous rockets. They will be followed by aircraft firing Zuni rockets on the AAA sites.
You will play "linebacker" and follow the main flak suppression teams and take out targets of opportunity including AAA sites that survive their attack - or aircraft on the runway if any are spotted.
Check the planner for the route you should fly. You will ingress down the valley and then turn west and come in over the harbour hard and fast. You will want to follow the flak suppressors so that you can clean up anything they miss or any targets of opportunity they spot.
Then you will clear the area for the strike package who will target the runway and the hangars and other facilities.
