A simple, yet challenging mission to familiarize pilota with the systems, tactics and techniques necessary to use the AV-8B N/A Harrier aircraft in the SEAD role.
SEAD Training Mission:
The objective of this mission is to familiarize the pilot with the procedures and tactics employed in Supression of Enemy Air Defenses (SEAD) employing the AV-8 N/A Harrier aircraft.
TASK:
Destroy SA- 10 site at Groom Lake AFB.
SITUATION:
There is a SA-10 SAM site in the base around Area 51 - Nevada. This SA site is harassing our flights in the area and is denying access of our flights to the Groom Lake AFB area of operations. Your mission is to destroy the main radar of this SAM Site, and then cause the most amount of damage you can using bombs and support from other flights.
