In this fictional campaign, Syrian forces have invaded and occupied the city of Palmyra and set up their main base of operations at the nearby airfield. Since then, they have rapidly pushed west and have taken control of several towns and oil refineries.

You will play as an AH-64D pilot with a pivotal roll to play in stopping the Syrian invasion and, if you succeed, taking back Palmyra. Strap in for a variety of mission scenarios and objectives, from supporting friendly vehicles as they assault enemy positions to evading SAM launches while making a precision strike deep in enemy territory.

Iraq's military has seized a town south of Shamil named Kormon  (DR83 32 KP9). *WPT3*

According to US Special Forces recon units, the city is occupied by  military personell ONLY; who are preparing to deploy attacks against nearby civilian towns

The President of Dubai; Mohammed Bin Rashid has agreed to give access to the fuel and weapons Dubai INTL AirportAirport;

Fly from Dubai INTL to DR83 with ground attack and air to air weapons and assist friendly armored units attempting to elimintate Iraq ground forces who have seized a small town south of Shamil.

The ground attack will not begin until enemy aircraft has been eliminated.

Arco 1-1 in the AO and available for A2A refueling (251MHZ)

Iraq's veteran pilots are reported to have access to MIGs stationed in the area.

ALL GROUND FORCES AND BUILDINGS MUST BE ELIMINATED AT WP3. Upon eliminating all ground and air assets, RTB for debrief.

Fly from Dubai INTL to DR83 with ground attack and air to air weapons and assist friendly armored units attempting to eliminate Iraq ground forces who have seized a small town south of Shamil. The ground attack will not begin until enemy aircraft has been eliminated.

No icons on map, no F7 views, the mission fails if you or any of your flight dies.

Two skins from VFC-12, the Fighting Omars. 00 is based off a reference image from 2005, and 12 one from 2006. Some light custom weathering, and custom patches and helmets for both aircraft, including roughmets and normal maps; the helmets specifically have had the somewhat scaled sticker effect that's occasionally seen. Place the two .zip files inside VFC-12_pack.zip into CoreMods\aircraft\FA-18C\Liveries\FA-18C_hornet.

Minimum viable helo FARP for Power/Fuel/Ammo

In answer to a Reddit request for what vehicles are required to provide power at a FARP i created, tested and verified this mission for both Blue and Red side Mi-8MTV2 helos.

2 FARPS, one on each side including 1 x Mi8 each with no stores and 50% fuel.
Ready to...
test that ground power can be connected
test that fuel can be added (try 10% to be brief)
test that stores can be added

** NOTE ! **
This mission reveals a bug where hard points do not get added to the helo when stores are added, which means we also do not get a gunsight!
This is a long known bug.
I will report this in the forums and link to this mission.

These are a small set of five training missions set in Caucasus, that I did last year for the Pucara aircraft Mod, that were never released because they were intended to be distributed along with the Mod. The Mod hasn't been updated since August of last year but it it is still available and works perfectly under the latest DCS 2.7

Update: v1.01 - Fix for lesson.lua, which prevented the loading of the first mission. Thanks to @Tanuki44 for reporting it.
Update: v1.02 - Rebuilt Mission M04 "ILS Landing".
Update: v2.0 - Converted the original five missions, for use on the new South Atlantic Map. It also includes an encyclopedia entry for the Pucara.
Update v2.1 - Added mission M06 "Rocket Employment".
Update v2.2 - Added mission M07 "Dive Bombing".
Update v2.3 - Added mission M08 "Low-level bombing"
