The License Built F-15J is a Janosian variant of the popular McDonnell Douglas F-15 Eagle. Developed under License by Shijo Heavy Industries for the Janosian Air Self Defense Force (JASDF). Despite initial push backs and delays that forced the JASDF to purchase the Shinomiya F-14AJ as an interim replacement, the F-15J serves as Janosia’s primary air superiority fighter as it was designed to strengthen Janosia’s air defense capabilities in response to growing regional threats.

The F-15J is almost identical to the Osean F-15C with minor modifications, primarily in the aircrafts avionics and electronic warfare suites. Its main roles include air defense, interception, and air superiority missions, utilizing a combination of BVR, missiles, and advanced avionics to secure Japan's airspace. Thanks to continuous upgrade packages, the F-15J has improved its radar and missile systems to address evolving regional challenges, and is expected to remain as Janosia’s airborne guardian in the future

With the end of the war looming close, the Belkan Air Force found itself in the unusual position of having more aircrews than aircraft. With the approaching Allied Armies to the south, multiple strategic operations were undertaken to at least stall, if not potentially reverse the losses Belka had taken. One of these would see the return to service of dozens of MiG-15 and 17 fighters to the Belkan Air Force. Flown by experienced crews primarily from the F-16 and F-15 Communities, these elderly MiG’s were flown in Close-air-support and bomber-interdiction roles to middling effect during the final weeks of the war. The 954th Fighter Squadron was one unit that proved to be  emblematic of the institutional problems that plagued the late-war Belkan Air Force.

Formed in early 1995, the 46th Air Force Unit ‘Silver Eagles’ was a unit in the Ustain 6th Air Division. Being primarily a mercenary unit, Pilots in the 46th AFU were from across the globe, including Useans, Veruseans, Aneans, and many from the surrounding Osean continent.

While not nearly as impactful as other more famous 6th AD units, the 46th AFU was instrumental in support of smaller operations to liberate Ustio, and in furthering the push into Belka proper. The unit would be responsible for many air to air victories, especially in the infamous Area B7R.

Due to combat losses and manpower drains following the nuclear attacks of 6 June 1995, the unit was disbanded, and its remaining personnel reassigned to reinforce other units in the 6th Air Division.

At a base nestled deep within Erusea’s arid and treacherous desert terrain lies the 45th Fighter Squadron ‘Desert Vipers’. Flying the venerable F-2A, the 45th FS is renowned for its mastery of desert warfare, low-altitude dogfighting and precision strike operations.

Formed at the height of the Continental War in 2003, the squadron was initially tasked with defending Erusea’s central desert regions from ISAF advances. The UH-1H is a versatile utility helicopter widely used by both the Air and Ground components of the Janosian Self Defense Forces. Introduced in the 1960s, it is employed in a variety of missions including transport, disaster relief, and reconnaissance. Its reliability and versatility has made it a mainstay in Janosian disaster response efforts and has been almost synonymous with the JGSDF as a whole with their use of the iconic airframe.

Established after the Belkan War, the 528th IAP ‘Lions’ would not get a chance to earn their stripes until early in the 2010 Circum-Pacific War. forward deployed to Merska Air Base, the Lions were a critical component on early probing attacks against Osean forces in the Solo and Sand Islands. The largest single day of combat they would see was on October 4th 2010, where the Lions and dozens of other squadrons would fly in support of the Yuktobanian Landing operations to take the Sand Island Air Base from the Oseans, in the second wave of the attack, the squadron was unable to stave off the changing tide of the battle and was forced to retreat, though their Vipers were credited with shooting down three Osean F-5’s that were defending the base.

The Lions would rotate back to West Yuktobania, and would only occasionally see combat, not regenerating their losses until well after the war. Today the Lions still operate in the Yuktobanian Air Force and have flown in various exercises since.
