The faded paint job of the shark-mouthed Mi-24 helicopter belonged to the 1st Brigade of the Ukrainian Army Aviation. The helicopter has the standard paint job of the USSR Army Aviation and painted over the stars with the Ukrainian Air Force roundel on top. This Brigade and its helicopters previously took part in the war in Afghanistan and the liquidation of the consequences of the nuclear accident at the Chornobyl Nuclear Power Plant.

In this variant of my training map on the Caucasus, the Tbilisi ‘AirRace’ is available for multiplayer in addition to the AirAssault training. The AirAssault training with one instructor and two trainee Hueys comprises seven tasks that introduce new Huey pilots to the possibilities of the Huey. CSAR, CTLD and Zeus are installed. For the ‘AirRace’ it is important that only one of the 4 triggered aircraft (2x UH-1 & 2x SA-342L) may be on the race track at any one time. I couldn't get it triggered any other way. The spectator helicopters on standby do not interfere with the stopwatch. Info on the kneeboard...
