The mission is based on the memories of the Mi-171ŠM helicopter pilot. It is a supply flight from FOB Sharana base to FOB Shank and COP Shark/Boston in Afghanistan 2011. This flight was described in the book "Tigers and Hippos" by Jaroslav Špaček. The player will practice navigation and new dynamic cargo.
The latest weather report is favorable, only the temperatures may be high, which may affect the task. This is the transport of cargo and members of the PRT Logar, the replacement and return of the unit that performed tasks from COP Boston for several days back to the American base Shank. Air transport is chosen because every ground convoy has been attacked and the risk is high. We know that we do not have a large weight reserve and therefore a flight to Shank was chosen at dawn to take advantage of the morning coolness. When the sun peeks over the horizon, the temperature will rise quickly, but if the soldiers are disciplined, it can be managed...
Notice: FOB Shank base is not on the map. That's why I had to replace it by COP Shank. Use only dynamic cargo for load/unload (Ground crew/rearm and refuel) dont use scripted cargo. COP's are not communicating but you will find them with help of ARK-UD navigation. The mission duration is 90 minutes and requires preparation before takeoff. All important information is included in Kneeboard and briefing. Language: czech sound, english subtitles.
