VX-9 XE100 2006 "Go Navy Beat Army"
This livery depicts F/A-18E XE-100 (BuNo 165780) of the VX-9 "Vampires", as seen in 2006 primarily based off of photos taken at the 2006 Aviation Nation airshow, where the aircraft was a static display.
It is unique in that it displays a decal commemorating PR1 (AW) Dennis M. Dunn, a navy sailor who passed on October 6th, 2006 after serving in Iraq. It also has a decal of the United States Naval Academy's mascot, "Bill the Goat", on the right-hand side of the fuselage just aft of the nose cone, in addition to the text "GO NAVY BEAT ARMY" written across the underside of both wings.
The aircraft later went to the Blue Angels, where it was first seen flying publicly at the Miramar Airshow in 2025, wearing tail number 1.
