Operation Black Fuel – CAS Mission over Syria
Escort a critical logistics convoy through hostile territory near Bassel Al-Assad Airbase.
Enemy presence is unknown, but ambushes are likely.
Take control of the A-10C Thunderbolt II and provide close air support to ensure the convoy reaches its destination safely.

Situation:
Operational Theater: Western Syria, near Bassel Al-Assad Airbase.
At 0500 Zulu, a logistics convoy, callsign Payback 3-1, departed from a secure location east of Bassel Al-Assad. Its mission is to deliver fuel, ammunition, and other critical supplies to a stadium, designated to become a Forward Arming and Refueling Point (FARP) for future combat operations.
Although the region is under nominal control, intelligence reports suggest possible insurgent activity in the countryside. Ambushes and guerrilla attacks have occurred recently, and enemy presence is likely, though unconfirmed.
To ensure the success of this critical delivery, command has assigned Close Air Support (CAS) using A-10C Thunderbolt II aircraft (callsigns Hawg 2-1 and Hawg 2-2 for co-op). An MQ-9 Reaper drone with onboard JTAC, callsign Colt 1-1, is available to assist with target designation and battle damage assessment.

Stay in contact with Colt 1-1 throughout the mission for target marking and clearance.
Objective:
Escort and protect convoy Payback 3-1 on its ~1-hour journey to the FARP. Remain alert — enemy contacts may appear at any time, from any direction.
