Initially established out of Day Air Force Base in Harwood Osea, in 2023 it was announced that the Samurai as well as their sister squadron the 35th FS ‘Kitsune’ would be transferred to Tyler Island, Usea for the security of operations on the Island.
While Deployed, the Samurai are responsible not only for Close Air Support training, but also Air defense of the Island as well as supporting IUN-PKF Operations on the mainland.
