The MiG-21 UPG "Bison" is a variant that is developed from the MiG-21-93 modernisation programme that considerably improves the MiG-21 aircraft combat capabilities with minimum expenditures.
Modernisation package includes improvements of the baseline fighter design, 4th generation fighter equipment and controls and introduction of new weapons.
Main features:
-Kopyo radar for AI.
-Old R-3 and newer R-60M and R-73E short range missiles.
-BVR capable R-27R1, R-27T1 and R-77 missiles.
-Integrated ECM, chaff and flares.
Since DCS 2.9.6 update this mod is converted into AI only as the Flaming Cliffs
cockpits became unusable for mods.
Installation:
-Put the "MIG-21-Bison-AI" folder into "SavedGames/DCS/Mods/aircraft" directory.
-Remove any older version if you have it.
