RN FRS1 Sea Harrier (Pre-Falklands) Livery for AV-8B as used prior to deployment to the Falklands.
With the arrival of the excellent South Atlantic map, the opportunity is here to recreate some of the historical actions of the Falklands War.
Prior to the Falklands conflict, RN Fleet Air Arm Sea Harriers carried a two-tone scheme consisting Extra Dark Sea Grey with a white underside.
This scheme was glossy before the mid-1970s, and matt later. While in some photographs this scheme appears a blue color, it is Extra Dark Sea Grey. The white underside color was painted out on 800Sqn aircraft on the trip to the Falklands, leaving these aircraft overall Extra Dark Sea Grey.
This skin represents the earliest incarnation of the Sea Harrier Livery, as used by 800 squadron.
Simply unzip the folder into "DCS\Liveries\" folder located within your "Saved Games" folder (typically located in C:\Users\[YOUR-USERNAME]).
