Ace Combat - Electronic Attack Squadron 311 "Gauntlet"

Established in 1970. Electronic Attack Squadron 311 “Gauntlet” started their operations flying the EA-6B ‘Prowler’ in operations with CVW-7 aboard the OFS Vulture. Their first taste of combat would come in the mid-1970s during the Adamas Crisis. The Prowlers fr om Gauntlet would fly hundreds of hours jamming Adaman SAM batteries allowing for Osean Air Operations to take place over the island safely.

In the 1980s, the Squadron would transfer to CVW-21 aboard the OFS Hubert, And later in 1995 would be assigned to Shore Duty supporting Osean operations in Belka. In 2006, the Squadron would trade their now aging EA-6B Prowlers for EA-18G Growler aircraft, completing the transition in 2008. With these new Growlers they would deploy to Osean bases in Usea, protecting interests in the region during the 2010 Circum-Pacific War.

In 2014, the Squadron would be assigned to CVW-14 aboard the OFS Pelican wh ere they would continue their Electronic Attack and SEAD mission to this day.

Established in 1963, the World Watches have been a mainstay within the AEWC community. Deploying multiple times over the years, including during the Belkan War as well as During the Ulysses Disaster, the squadron has been an invaluable asset in the intelligence gathering and airborne command and control capabilities of the Osean Navy.

[Update: 08/05/24] Hi folks, I'm stepping away from DCS for a while so I won't be updating these for some time. By all means feel free to update, edit and reupload however you like.

A pretty heavy open sandbox training mission in the Syria map around Cyprus. There are no threats.
Modules Required - Supercarrier, (any of the modules you want to train in of course :D )

5 Ranges to choose from, Pine, Oak, Ash, Birch and Elm for Ground Attack, Air to Air, Anti Ship, Runway busting and Radar / HARM.
A simple Airspace incursion scenario activated via the Radio menu

"Buddy Spawns" - I don't like being the only one taking off so I've added AI that spawn when you do around the base and on the carrier.

A large carrier battlegroup with busy (but still functional) Carrier decks, including the Supercarrier GW, HMS Invincible and Tarawa.
Airbase populated with Statics and ambient units.

Tankers and AWACS available.
Smoke on targets available via the Radio menu.

By 4 November 1956, Israel had captured all of Sinai except for the Egyptian artillery position at Ras Nasrani and the Egyptian Army headquarters at Sharm El Sheikh. Israel's primary objective in the conflict had been to end the Egyptian blockade of the Straits of Tiran. The artillery at Nasrani was firing at every Israel ship coming from or going to the port of Eilat. Your mission is to knock out those guns.

A-10A livery based on real life A-10s of the Wisconsin National Guard (176th Tactical Fighter Squadron, 128th Tactical Fighter Wing).

The Wisconsin Air National Guard began operating the A-10A in October of 1981, replacing the OA-37, and were based at Truax Field ANGB, in Madison, WI.

In April of 1993, the A-10A was replaced by the F-16C, and the 128th TFW was reorganized into the 115th FW.

Established some time in the 1970s, the 165th Fighter Bomber Squadron 'Pegasus' would earn the coveted title of 'Guards' shortly before the outbreak of the Belkan War when in 1989, following years of ethnic conflict in the border oblast with neighboring Verusea, the Yuktobanian Army deployed its military to suppress local insurgent forces in "Oprichinia" operations. Following their successful campaign, the Pegasus would redeploy in 1994 as the first Yuktobanian Vanguard to Ustio, serving with distinction notably supporting Osean forces in Belka.

In 2010, during the Circum-Pacific War, the Pegasus would live up to their title, Now operating under the 5th Air Army, they would fly daring bombing raids against Osean Landings in Yuktobania, before retreating to Cinigrad later in the war. The Pegasus would see limited action in years following, notably during the 2016 Anean Conflict escorting Yuktobanian shipping through the Razgriz Strait from both Emmerian and Estovakian forces.

After the morning attack on the Egyptian division headquarters, four of the same Mosquitos returned in the early afternoon to strike the Al Arish Air Base, being used to store army supplies and equipment. Afterward, they found a static train west of Al Arish and several Egyptian Army truck convoys moving along the highway.

When you fly an aircraft in DCS after leaving it for a while, it is difficult to remember startup procedures, navigation, weapons usage, HOTAS mapping, etc. And if you mainly fly VR, you can't even fly with the manual next to you. This is why I created a summary of all the procedures as kneeboard pages. I included a ready-to-use PNG version and the original multi-layered photoshop version, so you can adjust them if needed. Included is also the VR friendly Virpil HOTAS mappings I use.

-airbrake in then neutral
-flaps DOWN then neutral
-show reminder to trim

Douglas A-20G Havoc “Little Joe”, bureau number 43-21475 from the 389th Bomber Squadron, 312th Bombardment Group United States Army Air Force,1945.US A-20Gs were used on low-level sorties in the New Guinea theatre.

An A-20G 43-22200 , bureau number is displayed at the USAF Museum painted in the markings of "Little Joe". This aircraft is in much too clean a state however. I would imagine that the original "Little Joe" would show much more wear and this skin is representational of that. I also altered the normal map to represent what appears to be black rubber (leather) coaming around the gun turret.

*UPDATE* 26 Sep, 23:
Moved underwing Star and Bar rondelle to correct position on Right wing.
Added a generic skin with Bort letter enabled (I kept the skull over the guns since several other planes used it in the Pacific theater. Skin title:

Unfortunately there isn't a Razorback P47 in DCS, but everything else I have made is true to her current appearance as an Oshkosh-winner. In retaliation for the "Osean" terrorist attack in Dresdene, the Yuktobanians simultaneously launch an raid on the civilian Apito International Airport and chemical attack on Bana City. The Wardog Squadron, grounded in Oured for hearing, is sent to Bana while the Capital District Air Defense squadron defends Apito. They receive four specialized Mirage 2000Ds armed with just the 30mm guns and loaded with neutralizing agent and proceed to neutralize the gas across the city.
Afterwards, they assist the police in apprehending the terrorists by shooting down the helicopters they attempt to escape on.
