Le 50e escadron de ravitaillement en vol est une unité de l' US Air Force , rattachée au 6e groupe d'opérations , 6e escadre de ravitaillement en vol, sur la base aérienne de MacDill , en Floride. Il exploite des avions ravitailleurs Boeing KC-135R Stratotanker et effectue des missions de ravitaillement en vol .

Il s'agit d'un ancien escadron de transport aérien de l'USAF, spécialisé dans les C-130H, qui a été dissous en avril 2016. Auparavant, il faisait partie des quatre escadrons opérationnels du Commandement de la mobilité aérienne (AMC) basés à Little Rock , en Arkansas, sous l'égide de la 19e escadre de transport aérien . Le « Fightin' 5-0 » , ainsi que les escadrons de transport aérien 41 , 53 et 61 , étaient affectés au 19e groupe d'opérations .

When you fly an aircraft in DCS after leaving it for a while, it is difficult to remember startup procedures, navigation, weapons usage, HOTAS mapping, etc. And if you mainly fly VR, you can't even fly with the manual next to you. This is why I created a summary of all the procedures as kneeboard pages. I included a ready-to-use PNG version and the original multi-layered photoshop version, so you can adjust them if needed. Included is also the VR friendly Virpil HOTAS mappings I use.
