F-16CM AAR Training - Night OPS

In this mission, you can practice aerial refueling in your Viper. You can do this both as no.2 of a four-ship (including tanker form up procedure) in clear conditions, and/or solo, with very low visibility.

By default, you will start as no.2 of a flight package, approximately 2000ft behind Texaco.
Your COM1 radio is by default set to Texaco (251.00 MHz)

A second tanker is also in the area and can be found using TCN navigation (chan 12X | 252.00 MHz). Be aware though: For training purposes, this tanker is flying "low" at angels 11 in the middle of the clouds.

Notes:
1. Your kneeboard includes the AAR procedure checklist and tanker info.
2. At some point, you'll be able to initiate tanker turn if you want additional challenge (this might cause AI no.3 and no.4 taking a very long time to refuel)

You will start at CAMP HERMON (Golan Heights, Israel, close to the Lebanon/Syria/Israel Tripoint)

There are two CH-47's at your disposal
(00_Player = hot start | 01_Player = cold start)

In this mission you will be able to choose from several tasks, such as sling loading, internal cargo transportation and infantry insertion.

Two infantry squads are available at Camp Hermon (check your F10 map)

Enemy threats:
Insurgent small arms and MANPADS

Unless specifically instructed to, avoid flying in enemy airspace, or you'll risk getting shot at.

(I created this mission for myself for training purposes. It's fairly simple and straight forward, but I thought I'd share it here anyway)

OPERATION HELPING HAND - all helo modules - v1.0

Allied forces are under heavy attack and need your help a.s.a.p. until reinforcement M60 tanks arrive.

They are defending Chuburhindzhi village, which is basically the last line of defense for Enguri bridge.
- Take Off from FARP Tkaya
- Follow Enguri river downsteam (South-West) until you fly over Enguri bridge
- Chuburhindzhi village is about 2nm West from Enguri bridge

Reinforcement M60 tanks are on the way from Zugdidi, but it will take them some time to arrive. Until then, you must try and help our forces repel the enemy.

Originally created for the F-15E Strike Eagle - Ported to the F-16CM

This is a "showcase" mission for you to admire the F-15E (if you haven't purchased the module, but still want to experience flying along with them). Containing cold and dark startup, lots of F-15E's, close formation flying (as close as you want, for a nice in air view on this mighty machine) both at high and low alt, attacking an ISIL ground target, AAR (can be skipped), and more formation flying back to home plate.

The mission is very newcomer friendly. You can basically make it as easy or difficult as you want.
If you want, you can just autostart (or hot start if you alter it in the ME) fly, follow your flight lead and observe everything unfold. Or you can do cold and dark startup (by default), go wildly deep into your avionics and TPOD and set the mission to night time (daytime by default). In other words, you can use this mission for practicing basically any skill you like.

I found this nice Data Card from Easypeac3: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3307737/ who in his turn got it from BLMOA https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3306612/ and converted it to Excel format for personal use (as I find that a bit more easy in use than Photoshop).

Thought I might as well share it here for others to use.

This is a fictional 4-mission mini-campaign for the AH-64D and the Syria map.

The missions are building up in difficulty, with a main focus on atmosphere. Although not required, knowing how to operate the CP/G seat, will definitely improve the experience (each mission briefing will contain a few notes on what the player will need to know for that specific mission).

I'd say, overall difficulty is easy to medium and the missions should be suitable for newcomers (albeit as I created it myself, I obviously know where to look and what to do).

This campaign contains:
- Mission specific kneeboards
- Mission specific briefing images
- Partially automated comms
- Day and night OPS
- Mission scoring (although very easy on newcomers)
- 4 SP missions

1985 - NETAFIM MILITARY BASE - ISRAEL

Insurgent forces have entered the Syrian-Israeli DMZ. They seem to be preparing a defense force to occupy the entire DMZ. Syria denies any involvement, however they also don't support military action.

Israel has decided to attack the enemy before they gain any further in strength. Together with 124th squadron, you'll join this massive attack and show of force.

Mission duration: ±30-45 minutes (depending on play style)
Mission difficulty: Easy to moderate (depending on play style)
No mods required
No SC required
Syria required (obviously)

JULY 19TH 2011 - TURKEY - INCIRLIK AB

Step in your F/A-18C (board #407) and get ready for your next sortie...
Today you'll fly CAS over the city of Homs, in aid to our allied troops. Hammer6 will provide SEAD cover and Chalice5 will be active GCI.

Just another day in paradise...

Designer notes:
-No mods required
-Duration ±1 to 1,5hour
-Difficulty average
-ATC is mainly done semi-automatic (player input is sometimes asked)
-AAR is optionally (or a must if you're AB happy)
-Some TGP skills will enhance the experience
-Incirlik can be a bit performance heavy, but the rest of the mission is very VR friendly (I only tested in VR)
-Mission specific kneeboard included
