My competition entry 1 for Mi-24P Hind Livery Competition 2024

Mujahideen captured Afghanistan Air Force Mi-24

Includes historical bright lemon yellow version scheme, pilots with mustaches, 2 digit numbers and gray exhaust IR suppressors

Countries: Afghanistan, Insurgents

Because there are no decal changes these will work as Afghan Air Force planes too. Pilots usually just switched sides to whoever was in control when regime got changed or they defected so there is no need to draw long beards for these guys anyway. Idea here is to allow creation of scenarios for both AAF and Insurgents with planes that were historically actually flown or could have been flown by both sides during late 80's war period and 90's.

"United States Coast Guard" Mi-24 Hind

This is based on the Mi-24D Hind, painted in United States Coast Guard colors for the Soviet movie "Charged with Death" (Originally titled "Zarjazhennye smertyu") that was released in 1991.

the Film is an action movie where a group of criminals hijack a Soviet fishing vessel "Udachlivy", and the Soviet Border Guard ship 'Yuri Andropov' and United States Coast Guard helicopter (played by the Hind) make a joint rescue effort to save the Udachlivy.

While the USCG never operated the Hind, this was a real flying example of the aircraft used in the filming of the movie, likely as a stand-in for the MH-60 Jayhawk the USCG had recently adopted into service.

Air Control - Hatay

I created this mission based off the mission in Arma 3 DLC Reaction Forces called "Air Control", at least we don't have to deal with their Terminator AI. This was created for helicopters with a single player focus. It shouldn't be too hard, but as there is a bunch of stuff that can happen I haven't been able to test all of them. If you run into any issues let me know. This mission has the most flags I've ever done, so with the random chance I might have missed stuff.

Markers and drawings will tell you where your objectives are. Regular drop offs should be picked up close by on the air field. SOF troops are picked up close by but off the air field in their own "compound".
You can restart the mission once all task that you want to complete are done.

I learned a lot from using the Hoggit Wiki, so thanks Grimes for creating that and creating examples. Could not have done it would the wiki.

The "Bay of Hogs" is back. This is a conversion from the original campaign by SFC Tako released sometimes in 2016 or 2017 for DCS 1.5. I always liked this campaign even though it had some ridiculous difficulty in some missions. Story, sounds and missions are left untouched. Thus, it's not a remake or a remaster. You get the original feeling and the same awkward humor and the same fancy sound effects like in the original.
