It has been brought to our attention that several tankers are heading for a port in Said, as well as tankers heading for Tripoli. We would like to see them NOT get there. Intel has 2 tankers heading for the port of Said, and 3 heading for Tripoli. You need to sink those babies.
***NOTE*** - This is a multi-map mission. Both the Sinai, and Syria missions are in the zip file. You will start in Sinai, deal with tankers, land at Ben-Gurion, then Syria will load, and then you will depart Ben-Gurion, to complete the mission. ***

BRIEF:
You and several other F/A-18s, will launch fr om the USS Truman at or about 0605 hours. You will fly as a single ship, up the Gulf of Aqaba to Taba, wh ere you will go 'feet dry'. This first leg will be before sunrise, so your NVGs are available. Proceed to WPT 3 IF you want the S-3B tanker, or direct WPT4 to enter the search area, Once at WPT4, fly direct WPT5 to search for the tankers. After the ords are expended, head direct Ben-Gurion to rearm with 4 more Harpoons and refuel. You will then depart Ben-Gurion, RWY 30, and fly up the coast to Haifa. From there, fly direct to the search area south of Cyprus, and sink the other 3 tankers, Then fly direct, Akrotiri airbase, Cyprus.
CAUTION: Make sure to sink the correct tankers...there are several out at sea. If you waste your Harpoons, you'll need to rearm and return to finish the job.
Payload: 4 Harpoons, A/A weapons, centerline tank.

NOTE: There is an S-3B tanker you can make use of, that is on a 10 mile racetrack pattern. However, for those who can't, don't like to, or just prefer NOT to refuel, you can sel ect to simply skip WPT3, and go direct WPT4 fr om WPT2. The centerline tank SHOULD give you enough fuel, as long as you don't use it needlessly. All others, feel free to top-off.
