3 Regt AAC - Soest/Bad Sassendorf - W.Germany. **Updated - v3**
After release of the Cold War Germany map - it was apparent there weren't any 'small unit' locations detailed. My meager offering is the peacetime location of 3 Regt AAC, BAOR, Soest airfield.
Now at version 3 - further small texture changes, crash gates added, addition of helipads and dispersal 'oilslicks', and hessian screening along the front entrance fence.
Unzip the '3Regt' file and place the Soest folder in the Saved Games/Mods/tech folder, and place the mission files in Saved Games/DCS/Missions. Allow to overwrite if downloaded before at v1/v2.
3 Mission files - Soest1 Nav with player flyable AH64 on the dispersal; Soest1 Nav Night starting just before dawn/daybreak, and SoestBlank (requires configuring with a flyable aircraft) . Open either mission in ME if you want to configure aircraft/positions etc. All missions have a Gazelle starting up and doing circuits around the airfield. There is also a hidden FARP to allow refuelling/rearming.
The mission places the airfield in the 'correct-ish' location - if I do put it at the correct co-ords there is a road running directly through the dispersal so moved it over a couple of fields.
As before - still very much WIP but any constructive comments or requests for certain features always appreciated.
Note - if the invisible FARP doesn't play ball open the mission in Mission Editor, delete and replace it.
