You’re flying an Su-30SM charged with making the skies safe for a formation of four Tu-95MS that will strike parked high-value targets and attempt to crater the runway. Your mission is pure SEAD: find and suppress any SAM that can endanger the bombers or the cruise missiles they’ll launch. Expect two unknown SAM sites in the mountains and a hardened airport defense. An A-50 SA; use it.
Tactics: locate the radars, then engage radars from range with Kh-31PD. Prioritize mountain sites that can reach the cruise missiles launch corridor, then any emitters that threaten ingress/egress lanes for the Tu-95s. Keep an eye out for interceptors and avoid close-range attacks to the airport by your initiative.
Rules of Engagement: ECM is permitted only as an absolute last resort — it risks corrupting Tu-95 cruise missile performance. Confirm radar suppression before the Tu-95s start their strike.
