A simple yet detailed enough kneeboard checklist for the SA-342 Gazelle with procedures for startup, take-off, landing and basic weapons usage.
Upd ate 24.08.2025: Added the missing PDF file in the archive.
I don't know about you, but I own many modules that I don't have time to fly often enough and remember all the procedures… :)
Over the years, I made extensive use of Sydy's Quick Checklist and Minky7's Kneeboard Checklist series. Thanks for the invaluable work, guys! Inspired by their work, I started the Simple Checklists serie for my personal use, with the goal of being able to startup, take-off, land and use basic weapons in all the module I own without having to reread all Chuck's guide whenever I jump in an unfamiliar cockpit.
The procedures are mostly based on Chuck's guides and renown YouTube tutorials. I tried to make the checklists simple enough to fit on 1-2 kneeboard pages, yet detailed enough to not require to read the manual in order to locate every switch and button.
The archive includes both a PDF and a JPEG version of the checklists, and also a conversion table between millibars/hectopascals, inches of mercury and millimeters of mercury that will come in handy to se t the altimeter in the Gazelle.
Extract the JPEG files in C:\Users\USERNAME\Saved Games\DCS\Kneeboard\SA342L\ and/or C:\Users\USERNAME\Saved Games\DCS\Kneeboard\SA342M\
Happy flying!
