This mod replaces the default F-15E audio with a fully immersive, realistic soundscape based entirely on real-world clips and recordings. The engine roar, burner rumble, and cockpit ambiance has been completely replaced, selected, and edited to match actual F-15E sounds, the goal is to create a true-to-life auditory experience for Strike Eagle pilots on DCS!
The F-15E Sound Overhaul mod is a high-fidelity audio enhancement for the DCS F-15E Strike Eagle.
Made entirely of real-life recordings and reference videos. This mod replaces the stock sounds with the proper engine start-ups, afterburner roars, flybys, cockpit ambiance. I promise that this makes every sound feel closer to the real-world experience.
There are minor bugs, such as when the engines reach 72% rpm, they sharply fade into idle.
For those who prefer to not have the breathing effect, delete any files related to "ECS" within the mod folder.
