28 May 1970: 1LT Tom Yarborough is headed from Da Nang in Vietnam to the southern panhandle of Laos to scout a portion of the Ho Chi Minh Trail in his OV-10A Bronco. Orbiting north of him is a flight of jet attack jets. He sees a flash through the jungle canopy. A truck windshield?
