The mission can be launched fr om two location: FARP London and LHA-1 Tarawa.
"-1" Airframes are hot starts while "-2" are cold & dark.
FARP London is configure to resemble a carrier so in can be used for Field Carrier Landing Practice (FCLP). It has a preferred landing spot marked by black tires and the forward limit of the flight deck is, also, marked with tires.
Basic air base / air strip operations can be practiced at London and Kobuleti.
A KC-130 (Texaco) is based at Kobuleti to provide Air to Air Refueling (AAR) in a long race track pattern over the sea.
There are a few anchored ships at Batumi's Port to practice Vertical Landings.
A E-2D (Overlord) will provide guidance towards the air targets. It is also based at Kobuleti.
The target area consist of several ranges:
* Range 1: CTLD JTAC directed fire.
The JTAC will lase targets for you, so you can practice the use of the LST.
* Range 2: Scored Bombing.
You will receive information about how close wh ere your bombs to the center of the target.
* Range 3. Search and destroy.
Moving and static targets, including 1 "cupola on top" building (scored bombing as well
* Range 4. SEAD/DEAD.
Two SAM batteries with functional radars (targets for Sidearms) and inert launchers.
Range 5. Strafing and Rockets.
8 light and heavy armored targets, facing different directions.
Range 6. Airbase attack.
Practice runway and taxiway denial bombing.
Range 7. DCS JTAC.
Darkightt will lase target for you using DCS comms menu.
Range 8. Bombing intervals.
Practice droping bombs with spacing between them.
AA Range. Air to Air. West of Kutaisi
2 LC-39 and 2 Mi-8. Practice following directions from the AWACS.
