"Sleepy Jean 3rd" was a P-47D-28 flown by Lt Bill Wayland of the 395th Fighter Squadron of the 368th Fighter Group, 9th Air Force.
It is depicted as it would have appeared in 1945.
Tasked primarily with ground attack missions, Wayland still claimed 4 confirmed aerial victories in this aircraft in December of 1944. (2 x Bf109's & 2 x Fw190's)
In the sim use this skin on the P-47D-30 (Early). This removes the fin fillet at the base of the tail which was the most obvious visual difference between the D-28 and the D-30.
