You are part of a two flight contingent from the 480th Fighter Wing, deployed to Norway in support of the training mission of RNoAF pilots ahead of their end of year upgrade from the F-16A to the F-16A MLU (Mid-Life Upgrade)
You are involved in the battle for Norway against a massive threat from the Kola based forces of the USSR as they make a push to Iceland.
Norway has taken brutal losses in the Air, Land, and Sea and is barely holding off the Soviets in the Bardufoss area, South West of what has been dubbed "The Blue Line" at 21E Longitude.
Iceland has just come under a massive missile attack followed by an Airborne Assault and is now under Soviet control. The Norwegian Coastline is under threat from a major Amphibious landing and Southern Norway may be the next to fall.
This is a follow up to 04-Jan Mayen Express.
The Soviet Navy is making an Amphibious landing on Bodø while the Air Force attacks Bardufoss. You are to hold Bodø and push back the Russian threat.
