Where can I find custom settings (joystick profiles, screenshots, tracks, etc.)?

All custom files (DCS user profile) are stored here: C:\Users\USERNAME\Saved Games\DCS (or DCS.openbeta) folder - depends on your version of the DCS World game

Can I change the catalog where user settings are held (tracks, missions, screenshots, joystick profiles, graphics, game settings)?

Yes, you can. Write -w key in the command-line tag and after this indicate folder name. This folder still will be in a Saved Games folder. This Saved Games folder you can transfer with the help of standard means of your OS.
To move the Saved Games folder:
1. Find the Saved Games folder in the following path: C:\Users\Username.
2. Right-click on this folder and select properties from the context menu.
3. In the window that opens, go to the Location tab.
4. Click the Move... button and select a new location.

Where can I find a folder for saving my campaigns?

My input settings are not working properly ( joystick axes work incorrectly, buttons click don’t work, my view was changed, etc.) What should I do?

First of all you should reset input settings to the original.
You should rename or delete folder with user input settings (C:\Users\User_Name\Saved Games\DCS[OpenBeta]\Config\Input)
Also, you can rename or delete user input settings for the specific aircraft (C:\Users\User_Name\Saved Games\DCS[OpenBeta]\Config\Input\Aircraft_name\)
Then launch the game, open control settings, configure your input settings again and click “OK”.
After your changes a new user folder with current settings will be created.

The joystick and pedals are constantly turned off. It helps only ALT + TAB or click on the screen.

Some applications intercept control of input devices.
Check and, if necessary, disable game mode in AVAST and, if there is a TP-LINK Wireless Client Utility, terminate the TWCU.exe process

How can I limit quantity of FPS in the game? How can I change the quality of screenshots?

Create a setup file - autoexec.cfg - in a folder “Saved Games\DCS\Config\” and write these lines there:
options.graphics.maxfps = “ FPS quantity value ”
options.graphics.ScreenshotQuality = “screenshot quality value”

How to correctly install Your Mods (user unofficial mods)

Usually, players installed their mods directly into DCS installation folder, which is not a proper way, since this could break object world ID, especially for those of 3rd parties.

you need to place your mods to Windows user profile  ..\Saved Game\DCS [or DCS.openbeta]\

No start/pause button

If you do not have a pause key on your keyboard you can add a new key combination in the controls.

It is possible to reassign the key
If you go to controls > general > general
find pause and add a new key combination for example  Rctrl +/

you will need to use a combination or key that is not in use by your aircraft but it is possible

I don't see the Option or Module Manager buttons after first change, the main menu screen is too small, want to go back to default

You can modify a file options.lua located at :
C:\Users\User_Name\Saved Games\DCS[OpenBeta]\Config\
you have to edit LUA file with Notepad++ , please install it from official site (https://notepad-plus-plus.org/).

if you need you can adjust the resolution and aspect ratio for your monitor:
options > ["graphics"] >
["aspect"] = ***,
["height"] = ****,

["width"] = ***,
(width = the combined width of all your monitors)

and set the multiMonitorSetup by default :
["multiMonitorSetup"] = "1camera"

Also you can delete options.lua file and start DCS World again with all options by default.

Increasing Text Size for Menu and on Screen instructions

Do Virtual Reality devices work in DCS World?

VR devices work fine in DCS World. Do not forget to follow the device driver updates.
Especially for VR devices, a more readable text message font has been made; the settings have the ability to limit the range of the mouse cursor movement within the DCS window, as well as the change in pixel density for those VR devices that support it.

SLI mode

At the moment SLI mode won't simply maximize or double FPS and depends on many factors and parameters.
It also seriously depends on settings, mission, computer specs, and so on...
DCS World currently only utilizes one CPU core, so only one CPU core is used by the simulation (only small part of the game use a multithread).

You need to understand, that each new video card (GPU core) added to SLI mode requires additional CPU overhead for synchronization between cards.

Please check the present value in the information part - use CTRL+PauseBreak twice directly in the game.
Present value is in ms showing how long the CPU waits while GPU finishes for every frame.
If it is less than 1 there is no reason to use SLI.

The second/third video card in SLI mode can only reduce this "Present value". The minimum value is 0.

For example, if the present value with one video card without SLI is 25 ms you can reduce the frame rendering time by using SLI mode by no greater than this value.

The Present value and frame rendering time will be less than without SLI mode.

Please read the guide how to correctly setup SLI mode
