Texture rework for the Fw190 A8 Anton - Modifications:
1 - The original tends to be too "flat" so I start to rework some parts of the ambient occlusion pass to give it more depth in the darker areas.
2 - I also modify some normal maps, add some seams on the leather and add more wrinkles to it.
3 - Modify the glass to look more natural and darker
4 - Reduce the saturation of the blue, red and yellow colors
5 - The oxygen valve I left it all metal (I find photos with this valve without paint but I don't find photos of it painted)
6 - Some instrument has oxide on the borders. I remove it and leave them painted black (like the original plane)
This was a personal project, but I think that a lot of people can enjoy it.
Installation:
1- Go to your DCS saved folder C:\Users\USERNAME\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\
2 - Extract the .rar file on that folder
3 - Now if you start DCS you will have the new cockpit- if you want to disable it just remove the files on saved games/dcs.openbeta/Liveries/Cockpit_fw190_a-8/default
This new version will work on SP and MP because it add the files on the saved game folder -- IC compatible ;)!
