- Мельников, подымай экипаж. Через десять минут за вами подъедет УАЗик. С экипажем срочно ко мне.\
 Я глянул в окно. С ночи стояла совсем не свойственная для мягкого климата Абхазии по Русски зимняя погода.\
Порывами дул ветер неся снежные заряды. Температура упала ниже -5 по Цельсию. Хотя сейчас ветер заметно утих, и снег сыпал не так сильно как утром.\
За окном прогудел УАЗик, и скрипнув тормозами у дверей дома, остановился. \
- Всё мужики, пошли, сказал я, и застёгивая на ходу бушлаты мы направились на улицу.\
А минут через пятнадцать мы докладывали о прибытии полковнику Егорову. \
В кабинете, вместе с полковником находились двое Абзазских военных. Полковник и майор, определил я по знакам различия.\
Поздоровавшись с нами полковник Егоров повёл нас к карте Абхазии.\
-Сегодня утром, начал он без вступления, пограничный наряд Абхазской армии случайно наткнулся на стоянку браконьеров. При попытке ареста, браконьеры открыли огонь и серьёзно ранив одного из пограничников скрылись. Другая пуля попала в рацию пограничников выведя её из строя. Случилось это в верховье реки Кодор вот здесь. Поковник указал на карте место стычки. Пограничники оказали на месте первую помощь раненому и сумели вынести его вот в этот населённый пункт. Оттуда же они и смогли дозвониться до своих по старому проводному телефону. Полковник ещё раз коснуся указкой карты.\
Вам, капитан Мельников и вашему экипажу поручается - вывоз раненого и доставка его в больницу города Сухуми.\
- Но погода, начал было я, но полковник не дал договорить.\
-Приказ об оказании всесторонней помощи поступил по самым высоким каналам. А вы и ваш экипаж имеете незаурядный опыт полётов в горах в том числе и в плохую погоду. И потом, сами посудите, машина сейчас туда если и пробьётся, то затратит целый день. А помощь нужна срочная. С вами полетит военный медик майор Асланов. Он займётся раненым в полёте. В случае чего он поможет вам в ориентировке.\
- Спасибо, но я думаю справимся. Лишь бы видимость была.\
- Как лететь думаете? \
- Наш вертолёт не имеет аппаратуры для слепых полётов, поэтому придётся лететь по ориентирам. И лучше, если они будут постоянными. \
-Может сначала по берегу моря, до устья Кодора, а затем вверх по реке до верховьев? - Высказал своё мнение Абхазский полковник, и я с уважением посмотрел на него.\
- Видимо это единственный вариант, но он отнимет много времени, так как идя по этим ориентирам мы не сможем срезать углы. Можем заблудиться потеряв ориентировку. Видимость то, чуть более километра.\
- Давай капитан, дейтвуй. Кстати, садиться в Сухуми тебе придётся непосредственно у больницы. Там перекроют дорогу и всё подготовят к прилёту. \
