F-15 Bicentennial Livery
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Based on a pitch by McDonnell Douglass for the Thunderbirds to use the F-15.

For the USA Bi-Centennial in 1976, F-15B71-291 was painted in (Most of) the
proposed Thunderbirds scheme with the T-Bird Logo replaced by the Bi-Centennial one.

Shown at events like the 1976 Farnborough International Air Show and the Japan International Aerospace Exhibition.

Two other variants of the Bi-Centennial Livery were a World Tour livery with Canadian and Australian roundels.

Originally for the F-15B (TF-15A) version (Frame 71-0291).
The 0291 became the prototype aircraft for the F-15E Strike Eagle Program

Notes
---------------------------------

Special thanks to Melan, Reb28 and Zoren for providing feedback and suggestions.

Most references were based on various model-paintkits as there are not that many high-res photographs of this beautiful livery.
Particularly the Canadian Variant I could not find any real world images other than various model-paintkits.
