BACKUP FIRST!!! Be sure to backup everything before you do this!

Step 1.
Unzip the file named modfiles.zip to your desktop.

Step 2.
Copy the following files from the Zip Files folder...

AeroWeapons.zip
AGM-65.zip
AIM-120.zip
Pylons.zip
Targeting_pods.zip

into this directory overwriting existing files...
C:\DCS Open Beta\DCS World OpenBeta\Bazar\World\textures\ (or whatever drive your install is on)

Step 3.
Copy the folder named DCS MOD into this directory...
C:\DCS Open Beta\DCS World OpenBeta\CoreMods\aircraft\FA-18C\Liveries\FA-18C_hornet\

and also into your saved games folder...
C:\Users\DMC\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Liveries\fa-18c_hornet\

This will make the MODS available in game, and also in the loadout options inside the Mission Editor, as well as the Model Viewer.

Step 4.
To customize your own name on the side of the plane you can modify the included Photoshop PSD file F18C_1_DIFF_DC_1.psd. Then "Save As" F18C_1_DIFF_DC_1.dds in the DCS MOD folder overwriting the existing file.

You can do the same with the pilot helmet file "pilot_f18_helmet_dcs.psd" and "Save As" "pilot_f18_helmet_dcs.dds" after modifying the name.

Step 5.
MODEL VIEWER
To load and view weapon models, turn on "show connectors" and open the Connector Toool Plugin in Model Viewer. With these tools you can select each of the 9 pylons and attach and detach bombs and other payloads to see how it all looks. Choose the corresponding .edm file from the following directory...

C:\DCS Open Beta\DCS World OpenBeta\Bazar\World\Shapes\ (or whatever drive your install is on)

Sceen captures for how to do this in the Model Viewer are included in the folder Model Viewer Pics for reference.

MOD screen captures also included.
