A serif font is recommended to differentiate capital I as in India and lowercase l as in Lima, among others

These are for the Logitech Extreme 3D Pro. Please use the reference images to ensure that you have the right profiles for your stick

INSTALLATION
This readme assumes that your PC user profile is located in C:\Users\(You)\Saved Games\DCS. If this is not the case, substitute this for
your actual location. This readme assumes that the foldier containing my profiles will be locaded in DCS\config\Logi3DPro_FC3_Hvymtal"
If you choose to unzip the files in another location, please substitute this location for the ones referenced

If you have an existing profile of your own that you may want to come back to, SAVE IT SOMEWHERE YOU WILL REMEMBER IT

I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR YOU DELETING YOUR OWN CONTROL PROFILE IF YOU CLEAR THE CONTROLS WITHOUT SAVING THEM FIRST

Important:
If you load profiles before adjusting the Modifiers, the inputs using 11 and 3 WILL BE RED AND WILL NOT WORK
It's a pain in the ass to fix this and instructions to do so are NOT PROVIDED HERE so be sure to add the modifiers BEFORE you load each profile

INSTALLATION STEPS
-Open the zip file and unzip the DCS folder into your C:\Users\(You)\Saved Games folder. This installation should not replace any files, only add new ones in a new folder
--The folders to override in order (if any) are: DCS, Config

-Start DCS World. To ensure functionality, always plug your Logitech 3D Pro stick directly into a USB port on your PC before you start DCS

-Go to the options menu (cog at the top left), and the controls submenu, at the bottom left you'll see modifiers, open that menu. Click Add under Modifiers

-Select your 3D Pro. Hit button 11 and confirm, do the same for button 3. Repeat for each aircraft. Not necessarily all at once, but DEFINITELY BEFORE you load each profile
--If it warns you that Joy 3 is in use, ignore it, as you will be clearing all existing controls in the next step

-Select the Joystick column (anywhere, doesn't really matter) and press the "Clear Category" button at the top to remove all prior bindings. Repeat for each aircraft

-Select the Joystick column again and press "Load Profile" at the top right

-A file browser will be opened. Ensure you are in the correct directory (C:\Users\(You)\Saved Games\DCS\Config for Windows 7, 8, 10)
--The folder you will be looking for is named "Logi3DPro_FC3_hvymtal"

-Click on desired aircraft, click joystick, select the "Logi3DPro_(Plane)_by_hvymtal.diff.lua" profile, and confirm. Repeat for each aircraft AFTER MODIFIERS
--Once you load a profile, it should put you right back into the folder it was in
--Use the directory at the top of the file browser to go back and select the correct profile per aircraft

-Observe the controls, ensuring that all controls have loaded correctly and that nothing is red

Note that the joystick curves may be set to my personal preference rather than default. If this is the case and you
do not find my preferences to your liking, you may have to alter this yourself. This is not intended as a guide to setting
up curves and deadzones, so you will have to do some research on your own or use the defaults

Note: The controls for the Su-27, Su-33, and all three MiG-29s are so similar that it is theoretically possible to use the same map for each.
This can lead to issues with red control maps, and it is recommended to use each profile intended for each aircraft

THEORY

This control setup is intended to provide a straightforward, user-firendly, and consistent flight controls across each aircraft,
aimed especially at new or more casual players. This mapping is NOT intended to replace advanced and highly customized maps such
as those used by veteran players or virtual fighter squadrons (DCS' version of a clan or guild). It is also not in any way intended
to replicate the actual, real-life controls used by the aircraft in question.

The keyboard-based controls are all retained and are identical to the default control mappings found in DCS. The keyboard is intended to be the "left hand"
part of the controls governing anything that is not combat essential, emphasis essential.
