English Layered Su-33 Cockpit Readme

Ever want to change the colour of your Su-33 English cockpit?

This is a collection of the 7 files that define the colour of the Su-33 cockpit. What makes them
special is they're not single layer dds files, but multi layered psd files. Each file contains what
I call a "Base Colour" layer, a "Shadow" layer, a "Highlight" layer, a "Devrim Default" layer and
sometimes on or two more. Here's what they do:

Devrim Default: This is the layer that contains the English grey cockpit as created by excellent
	artist Devrim.

Base Colour: This layer adds your base colour on top of the Devrim layer allowing the appropriate
dials, labels, switches etc to completely show through. This is where you define the basic
colour of your cockpit. Simply change the default dark red colour to whatever you like. I
find it easiest to use the flood tool. You'll want to define the exact same base colour
across all 7 of the included cockpit files.

Shadow: This layer of varying degrees of black define shadows that give shape to your
	base colour.

Highlights: This layer of varying intensities of white define the light highlights that also give
shape to your base colour. Note this layer has the opacity set low, for more pronounced
highlights just turn up the opacity.

These files are meant to be integrated with Devrim's Su-33 English Grey Cockpit mod found at:

https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/2863528/

1) Download and install Devrim's mod
2) Open the 7 files provided in my mod in Gimp or Photoshop
3) Alter the base colour of each of the 7 files to the same colour of your choice (the current
	default is dark red)
4) Make sure to only replace the existing base colour shapes, do not put your new colour where
	none existed before
5) Save each psd file
6) Load each psd file into DXTBmp and save in DDS format (mipmaps on, format DDS DXT5)
7) Move all 7 dds files to the directory for Devrim's English Grey
8) Start DCS, select Devrim's English Grey Cockpit and you're ready to go!

Note: I'd recommend entering Devrim's description.lua and commenting out this line as it prevents
you from seeing the proper exterior colour of the electro-optical housing through the glass.
